Brief Introduction to the Project
In this project, the title is ‘Style on the Runway’. The project consists of using upcycle an array of SIAin-flight service items and materials into a modern, 2-piece avant-garde look, fit for the runway. The challenge is to utilise minimal waste techniques, including a signature inherent in the following
1) Utility: Form & Function (convertible/multi-functional)
2) Artisanship and/or Textiles & Prints: Craft& Techniques.
Other Criteria of this project includes:
1)Upcycled items to bethe heroof the look.
2) 30% of other upcycled itemsmay be incorporated, including old clothes & other unconventional materials.
3)Adopt a practice of minimal to zero-waste upcycling.
