Brief Introduction to the Project
In this project, the theme is deforestation whereby I decided to focus on a sole of a mother figure using an oak tree as the mother of all nature. This collection will focus on the Oak tree and witnesses the scene of its children dying one by one the deforestation from burning to cutting the trees down. Only the oak tree (Mother of all natural) still standing, suffer in pain and agonize over the loss of its children. The main objective of this project is to showcase how digital prints and garments can talk about the story of the collection, where it can be remade, recycle and reinvent in the way that fashion can be responsible in vibrant, arresting ways.
